South
Lake Fire Safe Council
combines
private sector and government agency expertise and resources to
focus on local fire prevention. It serves residents and property
owners in the 286-square-mile South Lake County Fire Protection
District, California’s third largest fire district.
Board President David Henderson of Anderson Springs chairs the
non-profit group of five directors plus citizen members. In
addition to Henderson and Anderson, SLFSC directors are Rob
Bostock and Frank Meisenbach.
Interested community volunteers are invited to monthly meetings
of the South Lake Fire Safe Council held the first Saturday of
each month at 10 a.m. at the South Lake Fire Protection District
fire station, 21095 Highway 175, Middletown.
The Council started in the Spring of 2001, bringing together the
private sector and Local, State, and Government Agencies
expertise and resources to speak one voice for the community on
fire prevention.
The Council has
established non-profit status, and an active community volunteer
program. Be a part of the solution, join today!
