The South Lake Fire Safe Council synthesizes private sector expertise and government agency resources for the task of local fire prevention. It serves residents and property owners in the 286-square-mile South Lake County Fire Protection District, California's third largest fire district.
Board President David Henderson of Anderson Springs chairs the non-profit group of five directors plus citizen members. In addition to Henderson and Anderson, SLFSC directors are Rob Bostock and Frank Meisenbach.
Interested community volunteers are invited to monthly meetings of the
